Introduction to filter cartridge dust collector
A filter cartridge dust collector is an efficient air purification device mainly used to remove dust and particulate matter generated in industrial production processes. The following is an introduction to the filter cartridge dust collector:
1、 Working principle
The filter cartridge dust collector uses a filter cartridge as the filtering element, and the dusty gas enters the dust collector through the inlet and is evenly distributed to each filter cartridge through the guide plate. When gas passes through the filter cartridge, dust is trapped on the outer surface of the filter cartridge, and the purified gas is discharged from the inside of the filter cartridge through the air outlet.
As dust accumulates on the surface of the filter cartridge, the resistance of the dust collector gradually increases. When the resistance reaches a certain value, dust cleaning operation is required. The cleaning methods usually include pulse blowing, high-pressure back blowing, etc. Pulse blowing is the use of compressed air to instantly release shock waves, causing the filter cartridge to rapidly expand and contract, thereby shaking off dust on the surface of the filter cartridge; High pressure blowback is achieved by blowing high-pressure airflow in the opposite direction through the filter cartridge to remove dust.
2、 Structural composition
Box: The outer shell of a filter cartridge dust collector, divided into an upper box, a middle box, and a lower box. The upper box mainly includes air vents, maintenance doors, etc; The middle box is the installation area for the filter cartridge; The lower box includes air inlet, ash hopper, etc.
Filter cartridge: It is the core component of a filter cartridge dust collector, made of materials such as filter paper and polyester fiber, and has the characteristics of high filtration accuracy, low resistance, and long service life. The shape of the filter cartridge can be circular, square, etc., and can be selected according to actual needs.
Dust cleaning system: including pulse valve, spray pipe, air bag, etc. The pulse valve controls the injection time and interval of compressed air, and the injection pipe evenly sprays the compressed air towards the filter cartridge, while the air bag stores the compressed air.
Ash unloading system: used to discharge dust from the ash hopper, usually composed of ash unloading valves, conveyors, etc.
Control system: Automatically controls the operation of the filter cartridge dust collector, including dust cleaning control, temperature control, pressure control, etc.
3、 Advantages
High filtration efficiency: The filtration accuracy of the filter cartridge can reach over 0.1 microns, and the filtration efficiency for fine dust is high, which can meet strict environmental requirements.
Small footprint: Compared with bag filters, filter cartridge dust collectors have a more compact structure and smaller footprint, making them suitable for installation in places with limited space.
Good dust cleaning effect: Advanced dust cleaning technology is used to effectively remove dust on the surface of the filter cartridge, ensuring the stable operation of the dust collector.
Low maintenance cost: The filter cartridge has a long service life, is easy to replace, and has low maintenance costs.
Strong adaptability: It can handle dusty gases of different properties, including high temperature, high humidity, corrosive gases, etc.
4、 Disadvantages
High viscosity requirements for dust: When dealing with highly viscous dust, it is easy to cause filter blockage, which affects the performance of the dust collector.
Relatively high price: Compared with traditional bag filters, the price of filter cartridge dust collectors is relatively high. 5、 Application Fields
Mechanical processing: used to remove metal dust, cutting fluid mist, etc. generated during machine tool processing.
Pharmaceutical industry: In the process of drug production, dust and particulate matter are removed to ensure the quality of drugs.
Food industry: used for dust control during food processing to ensure food hygiene and safety.
Electronics industry: Remove dust generated during the production process of electronic components to prevent dust from affecting the quality of electronic products.
Chemical industry: Dealing with dust and waste gas in the chemical production process to protect the environment.
